A service of Thanksgiving for the life of Alistair Stewart will be held at 11am on Friday 18th March at Hope Church Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 8DQ, with committal at 12.40pm, Magdalen Hill Cemetery, 124 Alresford Rd, Winchester SO21 1HB.
This will be followed by a light lunch of tea, sandwiches, and of course- cakes!
We warmly welcome you to stay for as long or as little as you like after the service until our departure at 4.45pm
The service, committal and lunch are open to all; however we would appreciate your RSVP to bit.ly/3ARfL3l by 4th March to help with our planning.
There will be time for meeting up with old friends, fellowship, and a time for additional tributes during the afternoon. It would help if we know in advance how many would like to share a short story, memory or testimony of Alistair’s life. If there is a lot of interest then we might need to restrict how long everybody can talk for.
When you RSVP please include the following:
Names of who will be attending
Numbers staying for lunch
Names of those wanting to share a story
Service times are:
11-12.30 Main service
12.40-1.30 Committal or refreshments for those remaining at the church
1.00-4.30 Fellowship, lunch and stories
Dress code Please do feel free to dress up for the occasion if you wish, and wear a kilt if you have one!
